Harford Kicks Implements Background Screening for Coaches
Harford Kicks Soccer Club has
partnered with the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NSCI) to
provide online background screening for all of its Coaches that work
with children. Coaches simply register on the NCSI website and there
information is checked against:
- National Criminal Database search
- All available state sex offender
registries search
- Social security number verification
- Address history records
- OFAC federal terrorist database
search
Online "Red Light/Green Light"
determinations are then provided to the club so decisions can be made.
Harford Kick's sees this is a necessary and revolutionary approach to
maintaining the safety of our youth players.
